Picking a gambing website

Most internet gambling websites provide a play money and a real money option.

You should always be careful when picking a gambling website, ensure to pick a reputable one, but you should also keep the websites goal in mind.

They want you to lose. Simple as. They want to make money and for that to happen you must deposit money into your account.

If you want to try out a website you may try the play money option to see how things go, but don’t be surprised if you win a lot more than you do with real money. A gambling website can increase winning odds to lure you in with no real cost to themselves.

If you’re looking for legit places you play you can go to:
PKR or Full Tilt Poker for poker
William Hill for casino games and pretty much any other bet

Common scam tips

Common scam tips

So you want to buy something online but you want to avoid scam posts? You want to know how to avoid scams?

While some scammers can type in clear English and can be hard to detect... there are some tell tale signs of a common scam.

· Poor Spelling, grammar and punctuation.

You may just be dealing with an illiterate but legit trader or it could be a scammer. Scammers operate on English speaking websites from other countries because it can be easier to get away with.

· Too good to be true?

Then it is. Unless you trust the source make sure you get the product first before you hand over anything.

· Posting to foreign countries

In some cases you can’t get your item or money back once you’ve sent it. If I sell something abroad I make sure I get paid first.

· Beware of paypal disputes

Just because someone offers to pay you in paypal does not make it safe. They can open a dispute and claim their money back.

· Speedy deals

If someone’s trying to rush you, there should be alarm bells ringing. If they’re in a hurry for a sale ensure you get the item or the money before you send anything. They may have a legit reason for the rush but then they should be willing to pay first.

Keep in mind there is no full proof way of seeing a scam. But following these simple rules can help you avoid the basic ones for a start.
